2024 TIMELINE / DEADLINES:
July 12 – Auditions Open
July 25 – Video submissions close and callbacks announced via email
July 26/27 – Callbacks at Cedarstone Hendersonville campus
July 28 – Final decisions announced via email
July 31 – Acceptance decisions are due
August 5-8 – Weekly rehearsals begin following the Sumner County School Calendar for holidays and closures.
THE AUDITION PROCESS:
- Open to all instruments and voices.
- Select 2 songs that best showcase your vocal talents.
- If auditioning both instrumentally and vocally – 2 songs per category.
- Upload separate YouTube videos for each audition song.
- Email events@cedarstone.com with your name, instrument of choice and/or voice, age, and the links to your audition videos on YouTube.
- Videos are reviewed by our diverse and talented team of teachers.
- Callbacks will be determined (this is a second round of auditioning in a live setting) and everyone who submitted a video will receive an email indicating whether they advance to this second round.
- Callbacks will be held at Cedarstone.
- Callbacks do not guarantee a spot in the ensembles.
- Final decisions will be emailed to all participants.
