THE TONES
TUESDAY NIGHT REHEARSALS: 5p-7p
This band represents Cedarstone’s finest and most advanced musicians. The Tones is audition based and is highly selective to reflect its status as Cedarstone’s flagship core group. These students will be the face of Cedarstone and will have many opportunities to train as advanced performing musicians in the professional music community. This specialized education is focused on literally every practical aspect of being a pro performing musician while learning a vast array of technical and practical musical skills.STYLE OF MUSIC:

Pro Instruction on how to function in a professional band in the music industry

Learning to design a show for maximum entertainment value
Multiple live performance opportunitiesCOST:
$150/monthly (discounted tuition for students enrolled in private Cedarstone instruction)
$200/monthly (tuition for students not enrolled in Cedarstone weekly private instruction)EXPECTATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
As an advocate and ambassador for Cedarstone School of Music every band member must function with ethics and integrity in accordance with our mission.
Come prepared to every rehearsal at a high level of musical excellence.
Attend all rehearsals. Maximum of 3 excused absences in every band season.
Attend and perform at all scheduled gigs. (TBD with open communication and pre planning)
Maintain weekly private music instruction on the applied instruments and/or voice.AMPLIFY
FRIDAY REHEARSALS 4p-6p
This pop / rock band represents Cedarstone’s young advanced musicians. Amplify is audition based and is highly selective. These students will train weekly, learning the ins and outs of performing in a rock band. This specialized education is focused on practical aspects of being a performing musician while learning a vast array of technical musical skills.STYLE OF MUSIC:

Ready to Audition?
HOW TO AUDITION:
1. Audition with 2 separate songs that you feel best represent your musical skill.
2. Upload each song as a separate video to Youtube.
